The Bawdwin mine is one of the most historic mines in Myanmar and remains a world-class mineral deposit. Valentis did the first modern day exploration on the project, developing the first JORC compliant resource in Myanmar.
Valentis was appointed as a sub-consultant on behalf of Norconsult to undertake a turnkey geotechnical and geological site investigation for the Bawgata Lower Hydropower Project in March 2019.
Valentis advised an Australia Stock Exchange Listed client on a joint venture with a local Myanmar company on an exploration project. The JV will be one of the first of its kind in Myanmar’s mining sector.
